FAQ's

When is the best time to prune my shrubs?

It depends on the species. Generally, flowering shrubs should be pruned immediately after they bloom, while non-flowering shrubs are best pruned in late winter or early spring while dormant. We customize our schedule to your specific plant varieties.

Following the “one-third rule” is a standard landscaping best practice; you generally should not remove more than one-third of a plant’s total crown in a single year. Removing too much foliage at once causes severe stress to the plant and can lead to weak, excessive regrowth or even a decline in health. For mature trees especially, careful crown thinning or reduction is required rather than drastic cutting.

Absolutely. We prioritize organic fertilization applications that nourish your turf naturally. Our goal is to create a safe, healthy environment for your family to enjoy, rather than coating your yard in harsh synthetics.

One of the most common planting errors is digging the hole too deep, which can ultimately suffocate the roots. The planting hole should ideally be dug two to three times wider than the root ball, but no deeper than the height of the root ball itself. Additionally, applying a 2 to 4-inch layer of organic mulch around the base, making sure it does not actually touch the trunk, helps retain essential soil moisture and suppresses weeds while the new root system establishes.
